Pest control is a business built on urgency. Nobody calls you for fun — when a homeowner finds termites or a restaurant spots roaches, they need someone now. The company that answers first gets the job. The one that calls back “later today” gets nothing.
But you’re usually on a job when those calls come in. You’re in a crawl space, you’re spraying a perimeter, you’re in full PPE. You can’t stop to quote a new client while you’re mid-treatment. And by the time you’re done, the lead is gone.
Then there’s the recurring side — quarterly treatments, warranty follow-ups, seasonal mosquito programs. Dozens of clients on different schedules, all needing reminders and rebooking. Tracking it on paper or in your head works until one client gets missed and leaves a bad review.
